From the cool, high-altitude slopes of Kirinyaga, Kenya, this washed SL28/SL34 arrives with that unmistakable Kenyan clarity — vibrant, structured, and effortlessly crisp. The cup opens fresh and fruity, with a bright, lifted sweetness that feels almost sparkling. Think ripe blackcurrant and red berries up front, followed quickly by a clean, citrusy snap that gives the profile its “just-cut fruit” freshness.

As it develops, the washed processing keeps everything sharply defined: fruit notes stay vivid and articulate rather than jammy, and a gentle floral edge peeks through the brightness. The acidity is lively but refined — more like grapefruit zest and juicy berry than sharp lemon — and it carries the cup forward with an energetic, clean rhythm. The body stays light-to-medium and silky, letting the crisp fruit shine all the way into a finish that’s clean, refreshing, and mouthwatering, with a lingering sweetness that invites another sip.
